My Tech Tutor

Patiently helping you learn to use technology confidently and with less frustration!

Can your smartphone help you work and play “smarter?”

It's easy when you know how.

Everything’s easy when you know how. My Tech Tutor makes it fun!

Let’s start from the premise that everything is easy, once you know how! And then we can try to make it fun to learn how. I love technology, so it’s not hard for me to be enthusiastic, but you have to be patient with yourself… and it’s so good for your brain to learn brand new things.

These photos are from last Thursday at the AACI in Jerusalem. It was the monthly meeting of the Women’s Professional Networking Group.

The topic:

Can your smartphone help you work and play smarter?

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

I had the privilege of speaking to this group for the first time. It was a delight to be able to share information with this wonderful and engaged audience. We started from the beginning about devices and apps (and where to get them) and talked about specific recommendations for apps and non-traditional ways to use the apps to get the most mileage from your phone. (scroll down for links to the handout from the talk and the powerpoint presentation)

Next step, “taking the show on the road.”

If you know of a group in the Jerusalem area that would be interested in this subject (appropriate for beginners as well as more seasoned users of smartphones and tablets), please be in touch.
